Justin Tuck Day to Day - Giants Injury Report

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News the following players did not practice today.

-  Kevin Dockery (Hamstring)

-  Chris Canty (Calf)
-  Aaron Ross (Hamstring)

-  Kenny Phillips (Knee)

-  Adam Koets (Ankle)

-  Clint Sintim (Groin)

-  Justin Tuck (Shoulder)

-  Domenik Hixon (Knee)

-  Hakeem Nicks (Foot)
-  Danny Ware (Elbow)

Mario Manningham Was limited today due to a shoulder injury that he was able to play through.

According to Ralph,  Hakeem Nicks has been making  progress.  Nicks claimed that he is able to run straight ahead but not able to make cuts yet.

The Giants are optimistic  that Justin Tuck will be able to play on Sunday with a harness. He wore a harness for the same injury during his junior year at Notre Dame when he recorded 13 1/2 sacks. 

Other News:

-  Flozell Adams has been fined 12,500 by the NFL for tripping Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora.

-  Derrick Ward has been talking trash to his former teammates this week, claiming he is going to run over them.  Lets hope they can keep him in check.

Justin Tuck Dodges Major Injury

The Daily News indicates that Justin Tuck has suffered a partially torn labrum. This is good news since it could have been much worse according to sources.

What I have heard is that Tuck will miss an estimated 1-2 weeks of play. There is a possibility he could play this weekend. But, I would think he wouldn't want to risk further damage.
