Battle Tested Giants Won't Be Phased by Crowd
One of the most important differences between the New York Giants and the majority of the other teams in the NFL is that this team is battle tested.
Since this team went on its Super Bowl Run in 2007, it hasn't looked back. From that season until today the Giants are and will be for years to come, a championship contender. This team has experienced everything that you would want a team to go through to get stronger and mature.
I know, this isn't the same team that won the Super Bowl. But, its the core of it. All of the leaders from that Super Bowl team are around except for Michael Strahan. Strahan passed the torch to guys like Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck since retiring.
I believe that if about 90% of the teams in the NFL had to go into the environment the Giants will be facing on Sunday night, they would be at a disadvantage. Not the Giants, let me explain.
First of all this team feeds off the media and people telling them they can't do something. And right now people don't believe they will win this game because of the magnitude. They are used to hostile environments such as, a very hostile Texas Stadium, Green Bay in freezing conditions, and even the pressure of beating an undefeated team in the Super Bowl.
So when this team steps out onto the brand new turf of Cowboys stadium, they will have the coaching and leadership to get them over the mountain that is in their way.
