The Giants Continue to Find Ways to Win
It all began almost two years ago during the famous week 17 match up against the New England Patriots. The Patriots had an undefeated regular season on the line while the Giants were looking to gain momentum heading into the playoffs. That night the Giants ended up losing a close back and forth game 38-35.
Even though the Giants lost, they had a new found confidence in themselves that they had been missing for years. Since that game this team has done nothing but produced when the games have mattered.
The Giants have won their last 16 of 19 road games and have defeated top notch teams such as the Steelers in Pittsburgh, Cardinals in Arizona, Eagles in Philly, the Panthers at home last season on Sunday night and of coarse last nights battle with the Cowboys in Dallas. Yes they have lost some tough games such as the last two games against the Eagles in which there defense was worn down last season. But, the majority of the time this team is a fourth quarter team and they stay calm and make the plays to win the game.
What makes Sunday nights game so riveting is just how confident and poised the Giants stayed under no matter what situation they were given. Even with over 100,000 people screaming, guys getting hurt and other distractions, they worked together to pull out a huge win.
In the end if you want to know what makes a championship team, a championship team. Just look no farther then the New York Giants. I am not saying the Giants are the only team like this. There are just a hand full in the NFL. They include the, Patriots, Steelers, Colts and a few others.
With the coaching staff and team aspect the Giants have amongst their players they will be a Super Bowl contender for the next four to five years.
