Terrell Thomas to Start Against the Redskins

When interviewed yesterday, Terrell Thomas advised the media that he was informed on Monday by the coaches that he will indeed start this coming Sundays week one match up against the Redskins. I really had thought that Aaron Ross would be able to overcome his hamstring injury and play. If Thomas has already been told he is going to start, then more then likely Ross won't play and the Giants will focus on getting him ready for Dallas. I don't believe there will be any drop off when it comes to Terrell Thomas starting. From my point of view he could start on most NFL teams right now. From the looks of it right now, the starters will be Corey Webster and Terrell Thomas and then Kevin Dockery will be playing the nickel and I'm assuming you will Bruce Johnson playing in some dime packages. The defensive line in the end will be the reason the Giants either win or lose this game.
