Outside The Blue: Week 6
Here is my take on what happened in week six around the NFL...
- The Broncos are a legit Super Bowl contender. A team doesn't go 6-0 for nothing. I do believe they will let down as the season goes on. Teams that get hot early have a hard time come playoff time.
- The Tennessee Titans have officially thrown in the towel on the 2009 season. It is sad to see a team that went 13-3 last season go 0-6 so far. 59-0 = given up
- The Philadelphia Eagles' loss to to the Raiders was typical Eagles football. Later on in the season they will win those games. For some reason Philly loses those types of games each season and then people doubt them. They find a way in the end to turn it on towards the playoffs. I wouldn't buy into the Eagles loss to the Raiders.
- The Washington Redskins are a complete mess and it starts with getting a GM and coach that can lead this team. They will need to wipe out all of the old vets and start over by rebuilding through the draft with young talent.
- The New Orleans Saints are a very very good team. What an explosive offense and a good solid defense to go along with it. It will be interesting to see how they do in the second half of the season since they are so hot right now.
Top 10
- Denver Broncos
- New Orleans Saints
- Indianapolis Colts
- Minnesota Vikings
- New York Giants
- New England Patriots
- Atlanta Falcons
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Chicago Bears
