Giants Injuries Slowly Fading
It looks like the New York Football Giants' injury situation isn't as bad as one might have feared. As I see it, this week has been a more positive injury week then the last few. Michael Boley has been activated from the PUP list and is practicing on a limited basis. Antonio Pierce has been making positive strides with coming back from his sore foot by returning to practice yesterday. Kenny Phillip's knee has swelled up from Saturdays game, but should be fine for the season opener. Chris Canty, the biggest off season signing has also been doing limited drills this week with his fellow lineman. It looks like the special platelet procedure he went through is working wonders. David Diehl is battling tendinitis in his knee. In my opinion that shouldn't keep him from playing the season opener as well. No update on Aaron Ross. i believe he is expected to be ready for the Redskins as well on September 13th. The most important thing is that these guys get their treatment and are able to rehab so they can be the closest they can when the season kicks off. As far as I see it things are looking a lot better.
